padi advanced open water diver course

Diving with the fish

Despite the name, you do not have to be “advanced” to take this course. It is designed to be taken after the PADI Open Water Diver course.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course will increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so that you can become more comfortable in the underwater environment. It is a great way to get more dives under your belt, while continuing to learn under the supervision of a qualified instructor.

It is possible to take the theoretical part of this course online through the PADI eLearning system.

The course includes five adventure dives, the first two being:

  • Underwater navigation
  • Deeper water diving – typically anywhere from 18 to 30 metres (60 to 100 feet)

The remaining three adventure dives are chosen from a list which includes digital underwater photography, wreck diving, night diving, diving with underwater scooters, peak performance buoyancy.
